JOE: Good morning Calliope.
CALLIOPE: Good morning Joe. I wondered where you have been.
JOE: Carol and I spent the week in New York visiting her son, seeing a show, Nice Work if You Can Get It,  and also visiting the Met for a production of AIDA.
CALLIOPE: You have been busy.
JOE: We took the train down on Tuesday. It proved to be a nice break from flying. It took longer but we avoided what we have come to see as a cattle drive at airports. The train was full but much more relaxed than the plane. It turned out to be a good choice.
CALLIOPE: Did you take a break from writing?
JOE: I did not actually write while I was away, but discovered a couple new ideas for my newsletter and did quite a bit of reading on the train and before bed.
CALLIOPE: What about Marital Property?
JOE: I sent it to three trusted readers and am still waiting for replies before I move on to the final steps.
CALLIOPE: Anything else literary going on?
JOE: I am helping a friend post his  book on Smashwords. Hopefully that will go smoothly. Well, back to writing. Best regards.
